Bideford journey is coupled with its capacity as a market leader in Diesel Generator arena of UK. We provide steady first/second line of defense against sudden power interruption, both in synchronous or standalone mode. Our foot print is over 10000+ with widely installed range of 20KVA to 4000KVA. Our products are end to end manufactured in Europe with Engines and Alternators having wide range of options i.e. Perkins / VOLVO / MTU / Mitsubishi and Mecc – Alte / Stamford / Leroy Summer respectively. 70% of MSC and Datacenter of all mobile Operators are secured by our Diesel Generator solution. For required sound attenuation, Our Generators can achieve desired sound level both in body or y tailor made room canopied technique.

 

ALTERNATOR

Alternators used in our products are designed to eliminate triple harmonics on the voltage waveform and are capable of trouble-free supply for non-linear loads. The alternators are able to avoid excessive neutral currents when in parallel with the mains. A fully connected damper winding reduces oscillations during paralleling. This winding with the pitch and carefully selected pole and tooth designs ensure very low waveform distortion. The main stator supplies power via the Auto Voltage Regulator (AVR) unit to the exciter stator with a self-excited control system. This exciter rotor output is fed to the main rotor through a three phase full wave bridge rectifier, which is protected by a surge suppressor against surges caused by short circuit. The insulation system of the alternator is Class’H’ with Class’H’ temperature rise.
